"Look at them." said Tagonoff as he watched the matoran workers. "Civilization is a waste of time, and peace is impossible." The vahki standing next to him hissed in agreement as it fed him his thornax cocktail. "Soon they'll see how pointless it all is when their leadership is destroyed. Hey you!" He said to the group of vahki that were working on a large machine. "When will it be finished?" They let out a bunch screeches and chatters in response. "Perfect soon Mebon, soon your powers and skill will be mine and the turaga, toa, and matoran will be no more."

Mebon stepped out of class expecting to see his friend Alex waiting for him but instead... "MEBON!" Nick's fist went four inches into the locker next to his face. "You snitched on me?!"
"Oh not again." Nick punched him across the face it didn't hurt like always but this time he was sick of it. "Fight! Fight! Fight!" Chanted the crowd of Nick's friends that'd gathered hoping to see him get beat up again, but this time he was going to show them. As Nick came at him again he grabbed his wrist and flipped him over his shoulder he got back up and Mebon could guess what he was thinking. Gonna kill him gonna kill him! As he prepared to defend himself he felt a cold hand touch his arm. "Uh oh." But when he turned around he didn't see the principle, in fact he didn't see anyone he looked back at Nick who had a surprised look on his face he looked down in horror to realize he was invisible. "Quiet you're coming with me." Whispered the invisible hand that gripped his arm tightly. An invisible knife was placed underneath his chin so he did what his captor said which led them to the girls washroom. 'Oh no I'm not goin' in there." The sound of a gun cocking entered his ears. "OK." He was shoved into one of the stalls. "I don't know what you think I did but there's gotta be a misunderstanding."
"It's not what you did." Said the captor. "It's what you can do, and what I can do to make you do it." Then he began to turn visible. Mebon saw that he wasn't human he was eight feet tall. His body was covered in mechanical armor so he thought he was a robot at first but then he noticed a few small chinks in the armor where some flesh was exposed. He had some kind of riffle mounted on his shoulder and three sharp claws on each hand. His face looked like a black plate of metal with eyes, a mouth, and mandibles. "My name's Tagonoff we're gonna have so much fun together."
"Sorry I don't work with aliens."
"Hmm you don't have a choice." A portal opened up on the wall behind Mebon big enough for them both. The next thing he knew Tagonoff had picked him up and flung him through. The last thing he saw was the grimy toilets of the girls washroom then he blacked out.

"Good morning freak! Are you ready for the augmentations?" Mebon found himself strapped to an operation table. "Don't worry it won't hurt...oh wait yes it will."  he paused for a moment to see the confused look on his face "You don't even know why you're here do you?" Mebon shook his head. "Well you are a very special boy. your DNA is unlike anything I've ever seen. And I want to use it." Mebon was horrified as two robotic arms lowered from the ceiling each carrying a massive needle. One was filled a purple liquid and the other had a silver chemical which looked like liquid metal. The needle with the purple liquid leveled itself next to his right forearm. The one with the silver liquid was positioned above his left shoulder. "I hope it's painful." Said Tagonoff. Then they went in. It was beyond any pain he'd felt in his life. His body throbbed and surged with pain as the two liquids melded into his DNA after what felt like years, the pain stopped and his straps came off. He rubbed his arms and noticed his right arm was glowing purple. He saw that his arm had a strange symbol that was shaped like a wolf's head. There was another on his opposite shoulder it was red and was shaped like the other, except it was missing a few of the curves, and it was on it's side so it looked like the side of someone's face. "Do you like your new tats?" He remarked. "What did you do to me!?"
"I infused you with wolf DNA, and a special something called energized protodermis."
"Prota-what?"
"It is a powerful mineral that can destroy or transform anything."
"OH." He gulped. He looked down and saw that his left hand was covered in metal and had three clawed fingers and an opposable thumb.

"One way or another you'll work for me." Tagonoff said as he threw Mebon into the cell. "your will is very strong, but I'll find a way to break though." He left his vahki to watch him. Mebon heard groaning from behind him, he turned around and saw what must have been a great warrior at one point. He had an exoskeleton just like Tagonoff, and his left hand. His armor was faded green. He was chained to a wall he had many cuts oozing protodermis. "What are you?" He asked as Mebon came closer. "I'm a human. What are you?"
"Whatever a human is, you won't stay that way for long." Mebon broke off his chains and he fell to the ground. He was shocked that they came off so easily. "You don't usually have that kind of strength do you?" Mebon shook his head. "I see." He examined Mebon's body. "Do humans normally have those?" He asked wile pointing at the symbols on his arms. "Nope."
"Well you've answered all of my questions I'll answer yours, I am a Toa. A Toa of air. I may not look like much but I was once a great hero, but I see my time has passed and you must take my place."
"How am I supposed to do that? I'm nothing special!"
"You broke my chains."
"They might have been old and rusty!"
"No. I see those wild eyes, free and loving, they truly belong to a toa of air." Mebon was blown away, this guy didn't even know him and he was supporting him like a son. "I might not have much time left. So take my kanohi."
"What?" He pointed to the mask lying in the corner. He walked over and picked it up. "That is a kanohi mask of illusion. When you're wearing that you can disguise yourself as anyone you want." Mebon was touched, just then the toa fell over motionless, he ran over and grabbed him he was still breathing, just barely. "Tell Elul. Tell her I love her. Tell her Orphus loves her like.......like a sister." He went silent. Tears filled his eyes. "Now you're Mine!" Mebon doubled over in pain. "Where are you!?" He screamed. "I'm in your head and I'm gonna stay here for a wile." Tagonoff replied. "I figured out your weak spot...loss. mwah ha ha ha!"
"Screw you!"
"That's not polite."
"I'll never obey you."
"I assure you you will."
"You can read my thoughts, whoop de do."
"I can't control your human body no, but remember you're not entirely human are you?" Mebon gasped in realization. Pain filled his arms and legs as they started expanding and changing form then everything went black.

"When will this shift be over already?" Thought Deku. "I suppose I shouldn't complain. It is quite a beautiful sunset."
"Rotate shift!"
"Aye aye sir!" Deku took one last look at the horizon. His eyes widened at what he saw. "Rahi attack!" The alarm woke the whole village. archers prepared their bows and lined up arrows at the ready. They all heard rustling in the trees then suddenly a large hairy beast flew right over their heads and over the wall.
Akus was horrified as it started tearing apart huts and guessing by the direction of it's rampage he knew it was heading for Elul's hut.
Elul woke when she heard the rahi alert. One long blow, two quick blows. She was worried the creatures might have damaged Wolfmoon pool so she grabbed her bow and ventured off.
