Fallen Soldier: Beach of Ghost by SILENTPHANTOMOMEGA
Fallen Soldier: Beach of Ghost
As they arrived at the foot of the hill Ellu had fastened a rope between  each of their torsos to a tree. Kyle was mildly nervous about the fact that they were so close to the cliff but the rope gave him a little comfort. "I think it's time you saw the past and future of Le-Vuro." She said as she took his hand and directed him to the edge.

He grew more uneasy fearing he'd have to scale the cliff face but tried to hide it. She let out a small chuckle making it obvious he wasn't doing a good job.

They reached the edge and Kyle looked down and saw "Ghosts. It's called the beach of ghosts." From where they were standing the island fell away as a massive slope of gravel, ash and crumbled houses. Everything was grey and dead. "The turaga told you about the battle between Mata-Nui and Makuta, but he didn't tell you what that meant for the island." She said with a deeply saddened face. "Almost the entire island sunk into the ocean, many matoran lost their homes, twenty four were lost to the sea including a toa and now every day another piece falls away."

She stepped out onto the beach. Kyle figured he had little to do but follow. He felt so out of place here, walking into the corpse of her whole world. But she had brought him here, he couldn't ignore it.

Every step he took felt like he was killing Le-Vuro a little. Suddenly something seemed to catch her eye she hurried over to a pile of metal protruding  from the ground. As he followed he saw what had grabbed her attention, a body.

It was badly mangled by fire and looked like it had been crushed by the metal and stone from the ruins. "Cenen." She started shaking. "He was a friend of yours?"

"Yes. He was the blacksmith who made my bow. I was out hunting when it all started. I felt a large tremor coming from the west. When I arrived I saw him crawling from the wreckage of his forge just as the island started sinking."

The body was fossilized in the same look of agony she saw five years ago, reaching for a hand that was just minutes too late.

She bent down and took the mask, hoping to give him a proper burial. "The others say it's bad luck to come here. That the only thing here is the end of the life we knew, but all endings bring something new."

For any of you new watchers who don't know, a while back I started writing a bionicle fanfic called savage soldier silentphantomomega.deviantart.… and I was going to expand it into a massive headcannon with many different characters and settings in a fleshed out world. But looking back I feel that there are many things that needed to be dealt with.

The story was kinda rushed and sloppy at first though I did have an idea of the structure I wanted in the long run the first few chapters were all over the place story wise.

Some of the characters weren't going anywhere. I knew what I wanted for the beginning, middle and ending of the plot and even had some really good plans for a few of them but other than that I had no idea where I wanted them to go and to fit into the rest of the story.

I never gave a proper introduction to the setting and had no idea how I was going to transition from the island of Le-Voro to the "Collision" (an event which caused humans and bionicle to meet) and then to the Unity Soldier Aliance (a foundation built to allow both cultures live together peacefully) now that I've had time to plan out the worlds I'll also be able to give more background to the characters.

So after looking back at all this I've decided to start over. I'll salvage what I can from the old version and begin more directly with Le-Vuro and leave the human science experiments as a side story that will come into play later.

But I can't get started on this project without help, if you guys have any ideas or would like to volunteer your talents to do this I would really appreciate it if you would shoot me a note telling me what you think I should write or if you want to be a part of this.

I am Silent Phantom and I hope to talk to you later
